Twentysecond Month of Lior Sent

Upon entering his twentysecond month on Planet Earth, our little champ goes to Chimpie Champ, an indoor playground. Here, the ball pit is clearly his favorite (row above). Or might it be the case that his mom just thinks that he looks soo cute surrounded by those colorful balls? He also enjoys himself on the teeter-totter (top left) and motor cycle (bottom left). In fact, there is little at Chimpie Champ that Lior does not enjoy! A close second to the ball pit, in the opinion of our Sun Child, is the indoor sledding hill (top right). Unfortunately, he goes way too fast for his mom to get a good picture of her little boy having so much fun (bottom right). Moreover, this means lots of running up and down the stairs for mom, to get him up with the sled and to make sure he gets out when he gets down.
If you have been missing pictures of Opa Ben on this site, it is because Lior's grandfather had a back operation and is spending time recovering at the hospital. Fortunately, the hospital is next-door to Lior's home, so he visits him regularly. While in the hospital, he enjoys watching television with Opa Ben (row below, left), sitting on his lap (row below, middle), and playing with Oma Alie (row below, right).

Lior loooves his big sister. Luna is very sweet to him, and now only rarely shows signs of being jealous of him. About once a week Luna gets to sleep in her mom's bed. When our young man joins them because he wakes up crying in the middle of the night, Luna comforts him and cheers him up by playing games with him, until mom tells the two that it is high time to go back to sleep!

Lior is a happy young man (row below). What makes him especially happy is that he is learning to express his wishes loud and clear. When he is told that he cannot have it his way all the time, he fully understands, fortunately.
As you can see, the glasses from the doctor's chest continue to be among Lior's favorite toys. Or might it be that mom quickly grabs her camera whenever he puts on the glasses? They help him find his drink (row above) and play the piano (left). Toomboot ("Zie ginds komt de stoomboot") is his favorite song (right).
After having spent weeks at the hospital, Opa Ben is now at a rehabilatation center. Whereas the hospital is around the corner from Lior and Luna's home, visiting the rehabilitation center involves hopping into the car. This means that Lior and Luna cannot visit Opa Ben as often. However, when they do, they have a wonderful time with him (row below).
When your sister dresses up as a princess, you have to follow her example (row below, left). When your sister plays games on the computer, you watch her carefully (row below, middle). When your sister wears a princess crown, it undoubtedly looks good on you too (row below, right). Something along these lines must be going through the little brother's head.
When you run into difficulties making a jig-saw puzzle (left), your are lucky to have a big sister around who is more than happy to show you the ropes (right). Something along these lines must also be going through the little brother's head.
Luna is a real ringleader when it comes to playing with her little brother. Lior, in turn, carefully follows his big sister's example. Here, they are having fun playing with balloons (row below).
How is this for a little troublemaker, eh (row below)?!
And how is this for a little cheeky monkey, eh (row below)?!

Hip, Hip, Hurray!
Twentytwo Months Old!

Boy, times continue to fly for our fun-loving boy! In the process, he is making great progress. He can sing several songs, is able to make his wishes known loud and clear, and generally enjoys life. Most importantly, his health is splendid. What more can one ask for? Absolutely nothing!
