Twentyseventh Month of Lior Sent

As he enters his twentyseventh month on Planet Earth, our Sun Child discovers the joys of cutting (row below, left). He takes the job very seriously (row below, middle). The occasion is father's day and the result is six hearts, two each for Opa Tano, Opa Ben, and papa (row below, right).
When mom asks Opa Tano to help clean up the back yard, the latter decides to put his grandchildren to work (left). The two are very happy to help!
Lior's bedtime routine involves having a little something to drink and a snack while watching a DVD (right). After taking his vitamins and brushing his teeth, mom reads a story to her sweet boy. And then they go through the day as he lies in bed with mom lying on the floor next to the bed. Lior's vocabulary is stunning. After one more song, our young man goes to sleep without any complaints. Every now and then he wakes up, probably caused by a bad dream. Though very sad as a result, he lets himself comforted back to sleep quite easily.
With the weather turning nice and with Lior getting bigger, he is now able to put water in the mini-pool by himself (row below). He is very proud of his achievement and very much enjoys the result.
Opa Tano and Oma Naatje give Lior a crash farming course when he stays with them. He helps feeding the chickens (right).
And Lior helps take care of the donkeys (far left). Opa Tano and Oma Naatje also take Lior to a state fair (middle left), where he enjoys playing with the water more than watching the animals!
Oma Alie and Opa Ben give Lior a crash fair course when he stays with them. He enjoys the merry-go-round (row below, left), the scooters (row below, middle), and the horses (row below, right).
These are a few of Lior's favorite things:
...eating (while making a mess)...
...snacking...
...drinking (and reading at the same time)...
...making music (or at least trying to do so)...
...playing...
...horsing around with Opa Ben...
...shopping (especially when he gets to have ice cream as well)...
...and hanging out with Opa Ben.

Hip, Hip, Hurray!
Twentyseven months old!

As the pictures testify, Lior's life is pretty good. He does not seem to realize yet that he is supposed to be in his terrible-twos phase. Instead, he is a sweet and happy young man who gives those who are lucky to be in his presence a warm feeling.
