Thirtieth Month of Lior Sent

As he enters his thirtieth month on Planet Earth, our Sun Child gets to enjoy an Indian Summer. And what better place to spend a sunny day than the play ground? That is, when he gets thirsty, the water fountain does pose a problem for a little man (row below). At first, he climbs on top of a chair to reach it, but still finds it difficult to drink. And then he figures out that a cup really works best!
For Lior, the last days of summer also mean getting to spend a little extra time with Opa Ben (row below). As you can see, he is not too excited about this!
The routine after dinner for Lior involves going upstrairs to put on his pyjamas. That is, this is the way mom would like to see it, but Lior and his sister much prefer to jump on mom's bed (row below). Luna has a way of drawing her brother into ways to escape the routine, and he is a very willing accomplice. Secretly, however, mom enjoys these moments of mischief.
The next part of the routine involves watching (part of) a DVD on the couch downstairs (row above). And yet again, Lior and his sister do their utmost to prolong the time until they have to go to bed (left and right).
When Lior's street is turned into a children's play ground for the day, he gets to hang out on the inflatable jumper (left).
With a little effort, Lior manages to make his way to his sister (right).
There is a game circuit that includes hitting a mouse (left). However, Lior much prefers to just admire the mouse!
The next game on the circuit involves tossing water balloons (right). A neighbor explains to Lior and his friends what they are supposed to do and they get very excited at the prospect of tossing water balloons.
Lior is the first to get to give it a try (left). Though a little hesitant at first, he is unstoppable once he gets the hang of it!
Aafke helps Lior jump around an obstacle course (right). The two also compete concerning who enjoys it the most!
After all this hard work, it is time for a break with the neighbor children and with a delicious pancake (left). Lior is fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors!

Hip, Hip, Hurray!
Thirty months old!

Our little Sun Child turns two-and-a-half years old on September 30. Time sure flies when you are a fun-loving young man! In the process, Lior is turning into a boy who is able to communicate his desires quite clearly. And he is quite able to stand up against his youngest sister. Yet, she loves him very much, especially when he is willing to get into mischief with her!
